The float needle valve or needle valve is a component of carburetors in gasoline engines. It is operated by the carburetor float. The level in the float chamber of the carburetor raises or lowers the needle in the needle valve. This releases or closes the flow into the float chamber of the carburetor. Für uns blieb klarerweise der Hersteller Aeon in Taiwan nicht lange im Verborgenen. Der Chef, Mr. Allen und sein Partner Mr. Galli, die von der Firma Fantic aus Italien kamen, entwickelten nach Adly diverse Motorroller und Quads.

Nach den üblichen Anfangsproblemen stabilisierte sich die #Produktion in Richtung Quads, wobei das Geschäft mit den motorisierten Zweirädern hingegen inzwischen zum Erliegen gekommen sein dürfte. Von den Quads wurden im Besonderen die kraftvollen ATVs ein Verkaufserfolg. Zuallererst in Asien und als Nächstes auch in den USA und Europa. Viele Distributoren aber auch Hersteller anderer Fahrzeuge kaufen heute von Aeon sowohl Quads unterschiedlicher Varianten als auch ATVs und UTVs, die sie dann mit dem eigenen Label vermarkten. Wir hatten gleichfalls jahrelang Quads von Aeon im Fahrzeugsortiment, aber dieses Geschäftsmodell wegen zu geringen Verkaufszahlen zwischenzeitlich aufgegeben.
